Bio

Vicky Diaz is a California-born, El Paso-raised writer and photographer. Her interests are rooted in social issues investigated through journalism, documented through photography and fueled by the intrigue to expose truth. 

Diaz is earning her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS after attending New Mexico State University from 2010 to 2013. She studied photography under former New York Times photographer, Bruce Berman, who is a professor at New Mexico State University. The constant search for truth is motivation to her stories and photos.
